I was delighted to hear that your establishment needed an Art Teacher. I have vast teaching experience as an Art Teacher in Ghana at Suhum Senior High Technical School for 4 years now. Throughout my career as a teacher, I have been passionate in my commitment to inspiring student’s interest in teaching and learning activities taking into consideration the age, interest, ability level and use of materials that will challenge students to manipulate them. I belief that young students cannot learn in abstract, especially those with low intelligence quotient and learning disabilities. Skills: I will therefore use inspiring and appropriate activities and materials in teaching young students so that they can learn better and be active participants. I will awake and sustains the curiosity and interest of students in the lesson, thereby motivating students to learn and become dominant role players, making the teaching and learning process a child centered approach. Lessons will become pragmatic (practical), interesting and child centered where children develop critical thinking skills as well as interpersonal relationship as they interact and share their views during the learning process. Accomplishment include: Won “best teacher in the visual art department” award at Suhum Senior High Technical School in 2020. Attend a workshop organics by Art Teacher’s Association of Ghana (ATAG) to enlighten us on: Critical thinking and problem solving .Emotional intelligence .Teamwork and collaborative skills .Effective communication and digital skills .Leadership and people management skills.
