My name is Jasmin,
I am a Bosnian national with 10 years of teaching experience. I've been teaching almost all of my professional life in international schools - I've been a teacher in Turkey, Bahrain and Kuwait. By degree I have an education bachelor's in History from University of Tuzla (my hometown) and a Master's Degree in medieval History (Istanbul University).
My philosophy of work is inquiry-based learning and allowing students to explore content for themselves - they are creating a critical thinking mindset and collect and synthesize ideas all while acquiring new knowledge. I have experience with Turkish National Curriculum, CLIL, MYP, AP and US Standard Core with a focus on AERO standards in teaching Humanities subjects.
