I am a 21st century and energetic Biology and Chemistry teacher with a solid history of teaching , mentorship, coaching , innovator and result oriented individual.
As a 21st century teacher who acknowledges that the traditional methods of instruction can not be effective to a 21st century learner. A learner who is skilled in technology, an inquirer, a critical thinker and a risk taker. It thus calls for a paradigm shift, from being a source of knowledge to a guide for learning. A learner centered mode of instruction, inquiry based learning and integrating technology and research in learning is thus my philosophy. I have taught Science(Biology and Chemistry)in the British National Curriculum of England and Wales in International schools in Kenya for 3 years and Kenya Curriculum for 7 years.
