I am an educator with 23 years of experience working with children in the elementary and early childhood education setting. Over the years, I have been privileged to be well versed in using both the British and American Curriculum as at when required.
I have a degree in education and an American teaching certification to teach K-8. Presently, I work at the American International School of Lagos, Nigeria, as an assistant teacher and serve as an advisor to the Elementary School Student Council. During this period, I have actively participated and guided students to take on small and huge projects such as service learning, recycling, school gardening etc.
As a person who believes that the learning process is life-long and determines and shapes our identity, I continue to improve myself by attending seminars and training. Over the years I have attended training that helps improve classroom management, the teaching and learning process, preschool curriculum and teaching and learning in a diverse classroom.
