Global Recruitment Company – Canada is currently recruiting a qualified and experienced Secondary Chemistry Teacher for an international school in China, starting in January 2027.
The successful candidate will teach Chemistry to secondary students within an international school environment, delivering engaging and academically rigorous lessons while supporting students in achieving strong academic outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Chemistry lessons.
- Develop engaging practical and theoretical learning activities.
- Assess student learning and monitor academic progress.
- Provide differentiated instruction and targeted support where required.
- Prepare students for internal and external examinations.
- Maintain effective classroom management.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and student development.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities.
Requirements:
- EU nationality with native-level English; British candidates are preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or above.
- Minimum 2 years of secondary Chemistry teaching experience.
- PGCE or QTS required.
- Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
- Experience working in an international school environment is an advantage.
