I’ve worked for over 30 years as a teacher and director of various educational institutions in South Africa and overseas. I believe I can make a significant contribution in a managerial position, as this has been my role in various institutions over the years.
As a teacher, my expertise lies primarily in the Humanities and Languages. Therefore, I would feel comfortable teaching subjects such as History, Psychology, Global Perspectives/Social Studies, Business Studies/Entrepreneurship, and English. I aim to inspire young people to live lives of purpose and significance. I enjoy innovative and relevant education and teaching.
In addition to my role as a teacher, my background involves spearheading diverse educational institutions. I have a Master’s in Curriculum Development from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa. In 2024/5, I assisted Hope Academy, an international school in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, as Academic Manager and Acting Director.
I also assist schools and institutions with curriculum / academic and program development, management and leadership, life skills, outdoor education, sports management, and staff development.
